Ce Pavuk

Hello, I’m Lidiia, an artisan and the heart behind Ce Pavuk.

Pavuk (meaning “spider”) is a Ukrainian wintertime straw ornament that was traditionally made in the weeks leading up to Christmas or during the Christmas holidays. Hung from a lamp or the ceiling, it gently moves with the slightest breeze, bringing a cozy and warm atmosphere to any space. 

I created DIY kits that are more than just crafting sets — they’re workshops in a box. They give you not only all the materials to make your own Pavuk, but also a moment to slow down, learn a bit about Ukrainian culture, and reflect on your own family traditions while creating something beautiful with your hands.

The straw is cut by hand and every element is selected and prepared with intention and care, leaving you space to fully immerse yourself in this creative, meditative process.
